KINDERGARTEN
At P.S. 2, we have different kindergarten program classes:
1. General education class
2. Integrated Co-teaching class with 2 teachers. One teacher is a general education and the other teacher is a special education teacher. Some students in this class receive special education services.
3. Small class special education. This is a bridge class has students in kindergarten to 2nd grade. The maximum number of students in this class is 12.
In our school, students who are mandated for special education services receive them in school. These services may include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adaptive physical education and counseling.
